Anchor Your ADHD Family:
ADHD Parent Coaching
You don’t have to fix everything at once.
You’ve read about ADHD. You’ve listened to the podcasts. You’ve tried the reminders, routines, consequences, checklists, and conversations.
And you may still find yourself wondering:
Anchor Your ADHD Family is ongoing ADHD parent coaching for parents who want help answering those questions in real life.
Each month, we focus on one common ADHD parenting challenge at a time. You learn about it. You look at how it is showing up in your family. You bring your actual situation to live coaching. And you leave with a clearer next step.
Learn it. See it in your family. Talk it through. Try one thing. Adjust.

THIS MONTH
INSIDE ANCHOR
Homework Without Becoming the Homework Manager
If homework is taking over your evenings, this month we’re working through it together.
Maybe your child can’t get started. Maybe assignments disappear. Maybe you’re constantly checking the school portal. Maybe your child says everything is done – and the portal tells a very different story.
Maybe homework turns into arguing, avoidance, tears, shutdown, or hours of parental involvement.
Or maybe you’re starting to wonder:
Am I supporting my child – or have I slowly become responsible for their homework?
Inside this month’s class and coaching, we’ll look at where the homework process may actually be breaking down, what support your child still needs, which skills they are building, and what responsibility may gradually be ready to move back to them.
We’ll explore executive function, organization, getting started, missing assignments, emotional barriers, learning strategies, supportive technology, school resources, tutors and outside support, and building greater independence over time.
But you do not need to implement everything.
Bring your child. Bring your situation. Let’s figure out your next move.
You Probably Don’t Need More ADHD Information
There is a lot of good ADHD advice available.
Visual schedules can help. Breaking tasks into smaller steps can help. Timers can help. Body doubling can help. Clear boundaries can help. Collaborative problem solving can help. School accommodations can help.
I know these strategies. I teach them. I’ve used many of them in my own family.
But there is a harder question:
Which strategy fits this child, this problem, and this moment?
Because two children can show the same behavior for completely different reasons.
A child avoiding homework may be struggling with executive function. Or anxiety. Or a learning difference. Or perfectionism. Or exhaustion. Or shame from years of struggling at school.
A child fighting a screen limit may need a clearer boundary. Or help transitioning. Or more meaningful things happening away from the screen. Or a parent who is so depleted that holding the boundary has become almost impossible.
The behavior is the clue. The work is figuring out what is driving it.
That is what we do inside Anchor.
A Simple Plan for Parents Who Are Already Carrying Enough
You do not need another giant parenting curriculum sitting unfinished in your inbox.
Anchor gives you a place to focus on one thing at a time.
Watch the Monthly Class
Each month begins with focused teaching around one real ADHD parenting challenge. Watch it when it works for you.
See What Applies to Your Family
You are not expected to use every strategy. Notice what is happening with your child, what you have tried, what happens in you, and what pattern keeps repeating.
Bring It to Live Coaching
This is where general ADHD information becomes personal. Bring the homework battle, screen explosion, missing assignments, anxiety, boundary, or question you cannot stop thinking about.
Choose One Next Move
Not twelve new strategies. Not an entire family overhaul. One meaningful next move.
Try It. Learn. Adjust.
Try it. See what happens. Learn from it. Come back when you need help adjusting.
When something isn’t working, we don’t automatically do it harder. We look deeper.

The Monthly Theme Gives You Focus. Your Family Determines the Coaching.
The monthly topic gives us somewhere to start.
But you are not limited to that topic.
If we are talking about homework this month and what is happening in your house is screen time, anxiety, emotional explosions, school refusal, sibling conflict, motivation, or a boundary you cannot seem to hold, bring it.
Anchor is meant to be a place you can return to as your child grows and the challenges change.
Because ADHD parenting changes.
What worked at 8 may not work at 12. What worked in elementary school may fall apart in middle school. A child who once needed you sitting beside them may eventually need you to step back.
And sometimes you simply need someone outside the situation to help you see what is happening more clearly.
See the Child. See Yourself. See the Pattern. Choose the Next Move.
My approach to ADHD parent coaching looks at more than your child’s behavior.
See the Child
What might be driving the struggle? ADHD? Executive-function demands? Anxiety? A learning difference? Emotional overwhelm? Shame? Sensory needs? Development? Something else?
See Yourself
What happens in you when the problem shows up? Fear? Frustration? Urgency? Exhaustion? Guilt? The feeling that you need to fix this before everything falls apart?
See the Pattern
What keeps happening between you? You remind. They avoid. You rescue. They depend. You set a boundary. They explode. You debate. Eventually everyone gives in.
Choose the Next Move
Sometimes your child needs more support. Sometimes more ownership. Sometimes a clearer boundary, a smaller demand, another adult, school support, or a different parent response.
Once we can see the pattern, we have more choices.
There is no single ADHD parenting formula. There is your child, your family, this moment – and the next decision in front of you.

Anchor May Be Especially Helpful If You’re Thinking…
“I know a lot about ADHD already. Why are we still stuck?”
That is exactly the parent I want to help.
Information matters. But information alone cannot tell you whether your particular child needs more structure or less pressure. Whether you should step in or step back. Whether you are looking at ADHD, anxiety, a lagging skill, a learning challenge, a family pattern – or several things happening at once.
Whether the strategy is wrong – or whether the strategy simply needs to be adjusted.
That is where coaching becomes valuable.
You probably don’t need another ADHD strategy.
You need help figuring out what applies to your child and your family.

Bring the Problem You Keep Going in Circles About
Maybe it is:
Bring it.
You do not have to figure it out by yourself.
Meet Kate Brownfield, ACC
I’m Kate Brownfield, ACC, an ICF Associate Certified Coach, Certified ADHD & Executive Function Parent Coach, author of How We Roll: A Parent’s Journey of Raising a Child with ADHD, host of The ADHD Kids Can Thrive Podcast, and founder of ADHD Kids Can Thrive.
I’ve spent more than 20 years learning about ADHD through parenting, advocacy, professional training, coaching, writing, and conversations with leading voices in ADHD, education, parenting, and neurodiversity.
I know the ADHD playbook.
But I also know families are not formulas.
My role is not to hand you a generic script and tell you to try harder. It is to help you understand what may be happening with your child, notice what you are carrying as the parent, recognize patterns that may be keeping everyone stuck, and decide what may help your family move forward.
Warmth matters. Structure matters. Boundaries matter. Skills matter. And so does understanding the human beings involved.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Anchor Your ADHD Family?
Anchor Your ADHD Family is an ongoing ADHD parent coaching membership for parents raising children and teens with ADHD, executive-function challenges, and related emotional, learning, school, and family difficulties. Each month focuses on one real-life ADHD parenting challenge, with focused teaching and live coaching to help you apply what you are learning to your own family.
Do I have to join at the beginning of the month?
No. You can join whenever your family needs support and begin with the current monthly theme. You will also have access to the 21-Day ADHD Parent Reset and additional resources inside Anchor.
Is live coaching limited to the monthly theme?
No. The monthly theme gives us focus. Your real family determines the conversation. Bring the ADHD parenting challenge you need help with.
Do I have to attend everything?
No. Anchor was created for busy parents. Watch what is useful. Attend the live coaching opportunities that work for you. Use the community when you want support. There is no pressure to keep up with everything.
Is Anchor coaching for me or my child?
Anchor is parent coaching. I coach you so you can better understand what may be happening with your child, decide what support or boundaries may fit, recognize patterns affecting your family, and respond with greater clarity and confidence.
What if my child has anxiety, autism, learning differences, or other challenges in addition to ADHD?
Many families are navigating more than ADHD alone. That is one reason I look at the whole child and family rather than assuming every challenge has a single ADHD solution. Coaching can help you think through parenting, executive-function, school, family, and support needs. Coaching does not replace medical, psychological, therapeutic, or educational care when those services are needed.
What if I already know a lot about ADHD?
Then Anchor may be especially helpful. Many parents understand ADHD intellectually but still find themselves thinking, “I know the strategies. Why are we still stuck?” Anchor helps you move from general ADHD information to figuring out what may actually apply to your child and family.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No. The monthly membership is $35 per month and can be canceled anytime. You’ll continue to have access through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. The annual membership is $350 per year, and you can cancel your renewal before the next annual billing date.
What if my family needs more individualized support?
Kate also offers private one-on-one ADHD parent coaching for parents who want more focused support around their particular child and family situation.
You Don’t Have to Solve Your Whole Family Today.
Maybe right now it is homework. Next month it may be screens. Then boundaries. Emotional regulation. Motivation. School. Or independence.
Watch the class. See what applies to your family. Bring it to coaching. Choose one next move. Try it. Learn. Adjust. And keep going.
