As an ADHD Parenting Podcast Host
“I just found your podcast and was listening during my commute. Came home to find my son had failed reading assessment. I calmed myself stress and worry by repeating the title of your podcast and hearing the story in episode #77. Thank you,”
“Hey! I recently found your podcast and it is really the best.”
“Thank you for your podcast. It has been very helpful.”
“Your podcast has given me so much peace as well as great ideas. Thanks again.”
“My wife sent me your podcast. We have a 9 yr old daughter with ADHD and it’s been a struggle. I spent 15 mins in tears thinking about all the times I’ve raised my voice at her for things she can’t control. It’s so stressful but it’s her superpower. She’s a Ferrari with Honda brakes. This was helpful. Thank you.”
“I just wanted to thank you for all the great work you do, I love your podcasts, I learn a lot from them and they give me hope! Our 12 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD in Dec. 2022, since then I’m on this learning journey to be able to understand him and support him better and to advocate for him. THANK YOU!”
As an ADHD Parenting Book Author
“I just wanted to reach out and say thank you. Your book has been such an amazing resource and guide for our 7 year old son’s ADHD diagnosis. The book is digestible, relatable, actionable and informative. In all my research, newsletters, podcasts, reading etc nothing has spoken to me more than your book. Your family is an inspiration to us. I continually reference it and reread it. Thank you for being so open about your journey!”
“My wife appreciates your book so much. It sits on her nightstand and she refers to it often. It’s been so helpful.”

About Me
Over 20 years ago, I decided to stop the negative stories of raising kids with ADHD, educate myself, create a plan, and advocate for my child with ADHD. My firsthand experience inspired me to write a book about my parenting journey, start a podcast championing the support and empowerment of mothers and fathers like me, and pursue a profession as an ADHD parenting coach. Thus, ADHD Kids Can Thrive was founded.
Over 20 years ago, I decided to challenge the negative narratives surrounding raising kids with ADHD. I committed to educating myself, creating a plan, and advocating for my child. This journey not only shaped my parenting but also inspired me to share my experiences with others. I wrote a book about my parenting journey, started a podcast featuring experts and advocates in ADHD, and pursued a career as an ADHD parenting coach. That’s how ADHDKidsCanThrive.com was born.
My mission is to coach, teach, and support parents raising children with ADHD, empowering them to create a brighter future for their families.
As a mother of a child with ADHD, I understand these challenges firsthand. That’s why I want you to know—you are not alone. It’s about thriving and helping your child transform their challenges into opportunities for growth.
My Mission
To coach, teach, and support parents raising kids with ADHD, helping them envision a brighter path forward.
My Heartfelt Message for You
If you are a parent of an ADHD child, you’ve likely heard or said things like the following:
- Kids will outgrow it.
- That child is lazy, crazy, stupid, spacey, acting out on purpose.
- Meds will solve it.
- The pediatrician says to come back later, and we will see.
- Parents wonder what to ask for.
- Parents say my kid is NOT taking medication.
- No matter what, he can’t turn in his homework.
- Wow, that parent can’t control their kid.
As a mother of a child with ADHD, I understand these challenges deeply. That is why I want to say that you are not alone. Parents raising kids with ADHD need each other on this unique journey. Always remember that ADHD parenting is not about just surviving. It’s about thriving and helping your child turn their challenges into opportunities for growth.
